Finally after a good 5 months of work the mod is finally finished! The 2009 Mod is by far one of the most complete mod’s we’ve ever done for GPM2. Pretty much everything we can think of and change has been modified!
Features of the mod include -
- Full 2009 Data accurate to the start of the 2009 season
- All the Circuits from the 2009 season
- Online Play now possible!
- Massively updated graphics

1999 Mod Released!

Another month, another mod released! 
Today I finished my 1999 Mod, which you can find from the Downloads page now. Also, IanWoollam finally managed to repair his Peugeot and is back on modding, so, even if it’s starting to sound a bit like a cliché, it shouldn’t take that long anymore to finish the 2009 Mod (well let’s say that it’s guaranteed to be ready during this year :D). Go look at the forums for some new preview pics!

It’s been pretty silent here in the News section, but for a good reason. Ianwoollam is (still) working hard on his 2009 Mod which we will hopefully see released in the next few weeks, and I’ve been modding hard as ever. And, a fruit of that hard work is now for yours to pick! I finally found a way of making proper topdowns myself, and made them ones for my 2002 Mod, which had waited for them since mid-July. But no longer! Head onto our Downloads page and grab that mod now!

I know it has been quiet about the 2009 Mod and I apologise for it, I’m still working very hard on it, its by far the longest I’ve had to work on a GPM2 mod and I’m still only about 60% done But I’ve been able to do enough to be able to show you a few shots of what you can expect with the mod! A new post author and some good news!

Firstly, as you can see from this post, we have a new news post author: me, Nuppiz. I’m here to make announcements when a new mod is released or something ground-breaking has happened in GPM2 editing, whenever Ianwoollam hasn’t already posted about it :P.
Secondly, one of the bigger problems in GPM2 editing has finally been cracked! Ianwoollam has found out the hex addresses to edit in a 1.02b exe so you could change the in-game-year, and I used his research as a base when looking for the same addresses in the 1.02 exe, which is currently the only one we can use when modding the game. The results were better than expected, so (technically) we can change the starting year of a mod, although it takes a bit of hex editing! Delighted by this, I already changed the starting year of every mod (par the 2001 mod, I must wait for fred’s permission with that) released on this site! You can find the modified exes on our renewed Downloads page, in the Patches section.
Thirdly, I’m about finished with the 1992 Mod which I have been working on for the last week, so hopefully we’ll see that soon on this site too!

Welcome to the new updated website for GPM2World! I thought its about time the site had a bit of a facelift as it had been the same for the past 4 years, was starting to look very dated! Hope you enjoy it!

Not much has been going on here, I’ve been especially busy with the up and coming 2009 mod unfortunatly however if you head over to the forum you can find some previews of the up and coming mod!
Nuppiz is still been busy though! Today he’s released his 1998 mod which you can find over in the Downloads section! Any comments that you may have can be given over in the forum.
